The Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society (BHRS) is a dedicated, all-volunteer organization committed to preserving and celebrating local railroad history. Our members play a vital role in maintaining the right-of-way, operating historic equipment and sharing the rich heritage of railroading in the area.

As a member, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about and help preserve local railroad history, attend society meetings and vote on important issues, and join a community of people who love railroading! No railroad experience is necessary! Whether you're an experienced railroader or just starting out, there's a place for you with us.

We meet at 7 PM on the second Tuesday of every month at the historic Bellefonte Train Station.
