Lemont Village Association Strawberry Festival
On June 7, 2025 at the 43rd Annual Lemont Strawberry Festival, BHRS provided speeder rides to over 400 passengers! Some passengers chose to experience Gene Tucker’s and Joel William’s speeder pump cars. Others enjoyed a peaceful ride through Lemont on an open air passenger wagon. Power was provided by Andy and Liam Richards on one end and Clyde Smith and Rick Thomas on the other end. A big thank you to Benny Housley who provided additional manpower to the pump cars!
Other help included Doug Swoboda, Carter Thompson, Brenda Geary and Rich Poletto who handled the ticket sales and passenger boarding and George Baney, Margie Swoboda, and Dan and Gail Durachko who handled safety. Thank you to everyone who supported BHRS by providing this exciting opportunity to festival attendees.
